Cailyn Clemons
Biography
Cailyn Clemons is a first-year Ph.D student in the Department of Epidemiology and a Mae Williamson Simmons Fellow. Her research interests include using mixed-method approaches to study the intersection of structural racism and infectious disease outcomes, with a focus on marginalized and vulnerable populations in the rural South. Cailyn obtained her MPH in Epidemiology, with a concentration in Infectious Disease Epidemiology, from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and her BS in Biology from Tuskegee University.
