Department of Epidemiology

Fang-Wen (Nora) Lu is a first-year PhD student in Epidemiology with interests in epidemiologic methods. Specifically, she focuses on applying quantitative methods such as causal inference and spatial analysis to longitudinal observational data to provide real-world evidence. Before her PhD, she coordinated research at the Taiwan Burden of Disease Center, focusing on projects that informed health policy through statistical analyses of national health insurance data. Nora obtained an MS in Epidemiology and a BS in Psychology from National Taiwan University.
