Chelsie Cintron
Biography
Chelsie is a second year doctoral student. Prior to starting her doctoral studies, Chelsie received her Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology andĀ Biostatistics with a concentration in Infectious Diseases at Boston University. Chelsie worked for Boston Medical Center as a senior research study coordinator on tuberculosis (TB) projects in India and collaborated with the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease on a TB project in West Africa. Chelsie's research interest is focused on infectious diseases in low- and middle-income countries. And has a particular interest in the intersection of TB infection and nutrition, especially among children.
