The Centers for Epidemiology and Environmental Health (CEEH) was founded in 2016, within Brown University's School of Public Health. In 2020, the name changed to Center for Epidemiologic Research. The Center is currently led by Director Francesca L. Beaudoin MD, MS, PhD.
The goal of Center for Epidemiologic Research is to conduct epidemiologic studies of the causes, treatment and prevention of major health concerns at the population level.
Members of the Center are epidemiologists, physicians and social scientists who combine state-of-the-art research methods with expertise in specific diseases, including cardiovascular, cancer, reproductive, nutritional, psychiatric and behavioral disorders.
