Environmental Health & Climate Change

A critical field of research, this area seeks to understand the impact of environmental factors on human health.

Areas of focus

  • Climate Change
  • Exposure Assessment
  • Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals
  • Air & Water Pollution
  • Lead Poisoning
  • Noise Pollution

Our researchers conduct exposure assessments to determine how people are exposed to environmental hazards such as air and water pollution, noise pollution, and endocrine-disrupting chemicals. These exposures can have a range of negative health effects, from lead poisoning to disruptions in our hormonal systems.

By understanding the link between environmental factors and health outcomes, our researchers can develop interventions and inform policies to promote public health.

Climate & Health

Climate change is one of the most pressing challenges of our time, with significant consequences for the health and well-being of people across the globe. From population migration patterns to infectious disease outbreaks, our researchers examine the relationship between climate and population health.
